Won two silver lions in Cannes, one Golden Pencil, one Silver Award and two mentions in El Diente.

Diego Fried studied directing at the Film University (FUC) in Buenos Aires, has been selected for the Berlin Talent Campus, his first short films achieved recognition and awards in film festivals such as Rotterdam, Toulouse, La Habana, and New York among others.

Thereafter he started working as an editor and assistant director for national and international renowned directors.
His first feature film “Sangrita” was selected for the Brand New Novelties Competition (Independent Film Festival of Buenos Aires) BAFICI and the San Pablo Int’l Film Festival. His second feature film “Wine” was selected for the Official Selection of the Moscow Int’l Film Festival, the Official Competition of Kerala Int’l Film Festival and won best Actress Award at Padies Film Festival (France). His last video Clip “Sexual Tension (2013)” by Chocho was selected as the best Video Clip of the Buenos Aires Emergent Festival and as one of the best ten Argentinean video clips of the year by The Inrockuptibles Magazine.

Storytelling and directing actors are his strong qualities as well a cinematic way of viewing the world.

As a commercials director he shoots for brands like PepsiCo, P&G, Danone, LG, Gillette, John Foos LA and Sony and agencies like McCann , BBDO, Young & Rubicam, Grey, Havas and +Castro among others.
