FAMA

About

FAMA

FAMA is the lack of identity. The absence of personality, of authenticity. FAMA represents all those who sell their essence in favor of others’ admiration. FAMA embodies greed, mediocrity, and deceit. FAMA is what many aspire to and also the reason why many succumb. As Hayao Miyazaki, director of Spirited Away, said about the No-Face: the No-Face are you and me, they are them, they are all of us. The No-Face are a reflection of today's humanity: always imitating someone, always chasing money, always dissatisfied. This is FAMA.

FAMA is a directing duo who have been working together for several years. Among other shared projects, they have been partners in a production company specializing in advertising and fiction. One of them focuses on storytelling and actor direction, while the other specializes in visual language and rhythm. The fusion of their profiles results in a style that stands out for its American aesthetic and dark humor, having created eccentric and memorable characters.
